Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Brady, you will design and launch high-impact desktop applications that power our world-class industrial printing solutions. Working in a tight-knit, agile team, you will have the autonomy to own modules from concept to code, turning complex customer challenges into elegant, interconnected software. If you love clean code, collaborative problem-solving, and seeing your work directly impact global industries, we want you on our team. This is an onsite role in our Plymouth, MN office.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leverage C#, .NET, and Microsoft’s Visual Studio environment
  • Utilize object-oriented coding techniques, follow coding standards, and follow standard development best practices
  • Manage the design and architecture of small modules in the overall product
  • Work with Brady’s user experience team and product owner to develop features
  • Support other development and quality assurance team members with expertise in code and functionality
  • Performs code reviews and follows all development processes
  • Setup and use software code debuggers and profiling tools

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in C#/.NET programming
  • Knowledge of C/C++ programming a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Knowledge of design patterns
  • Knowledge in at least one UI technology: WinForms, WPF, Xamarin, XAML
  • Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code
  • Experience with working in DevOps models (e.g. Microsoft Azure DevOps)
  • Experience working in a Scrum environment
