Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to own the top of the funnel at a category-defining healthcare company. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for the physicians, nurse leaders, quality directors, CMOs, CNOs, and hospital administrators we serve—the people responsible for patient safety, clinical quality, and operational performance at some of the country’s most respected institutions.

You’ll generate and qualify new opportunities, build trusted relationships with clinical and administrative decision-makers, and partner closely with Account Executives to bring C8 Health into more hospitals and practices. If you’re a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage clinical and administrative leaders through multi-channel outbound campaigns across LinkedIn, email, phone, and events.
  • Run disciplined daily prospecting: cold calls, tailored email sequences, and social outreach designed to resonate with busy healthcare professionals.
  • Research target hospitals and health systems to understand their clinical priorities, service lines, and quality initiatives—so every outreach feels informed, relevant, and respectful of their time.
  • Build and refine target account lists that match our ideal customer profile across academic medical centers, community hospitals, and integrated delivery networks.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, uncover clinical and operational pain points, and book high-quality introductory meetings for Account Executives.
  • Represent C8 Health at healthcare conferences and industry events when opportunities arise.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to sharpen messaging, test new campaigns, and share what you’re hearing from the field.

What You Bring

  • At least 1 year of demonstrated success as a BDR, SDR, or similar role—ideally selling into healthcare (providers, payers, life sciences) or at a B2B SaaS company with complex buyers.
  • Genuine interest in healthcare and a fast learner
  • Confidence and credibility on the phone with senior healthcare stakeholders—from frontline clinicians to C-suite executives.
  • A self-starter’s mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline and meeting-set targets.
  • Strong written communication: the ability to write concise, compelling communications.
  • Proficiency in outbound sales motions—cold calling, multi-touch email sequences, and social selling on LinkedIn and similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms, and prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment while staying tightly aligned with a collaborative team.
  • Experience leading or mentoring other BDRs is a plus.
  • Native-level fluency in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Selection Process

  • Application Review
  • Initial HR Screening
  • Business Development Assessment
  • Hiring Manager Interview
