Job Description

The Business Development Associate will play a key role in increasing Masthead’s share of the U.S. surgical bra market and supporting continued double-digit annual growth by acquiring new acute care hospital systems and alternate site customers.

  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of products, customers, and markets
  • Develop a system for reaching surgeons, nurses, hospital purchasing agents, supply chain managers, and other decision-makers
  • Generate and follow up on leads to secure and onboard new accounts
  • Manage and send price quotes, product information, and samples
  • Help plan for and attend out-of-town trade shows and conferences
  • Expand business within existing accounts by introducing new products and locations
  • Maintain and support company positioning in the market and stay on-brand
  • Handle customer inquiries (phone, email, etc.)
  • Re-engage dormant accounts and identify opportunities to increase utilization
  • Maintain a professional yet persistent approach while collaborating with team members to achieve company goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Driven, punctual, reliable, self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with CRM systems a plus
  • At least 1 year of medical device and/or hospital sales experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with NetSuite CRM or other ERP technologies a plus
