Job Description
The Business Development Associate will play a key role in increasing Masthead’s share of the U.S. surgical bra market and supporting continued double-digit annual growth by acquiring new acute care hospital systems and alternate site customers.
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of products, customers, and markets
- Develop a system for reaching surgeons, nurses, hospital purchasing agents, supply chain managers, and other decision-makers
- Generate and follow up on leads to secure and onboard new accounts
- Manage and send price quotes, product information, and samples
- Help plan for and attend out-of-town trade shows and conferences
- Expand business within existing accounts by introducing new products and locations
- Maintain and support company positioning in the market and stay on-brand
- Handle customer inquiries (phone, email, etc.)
- Re-engage dormant accounts and identify opportunities to increase utilization
- Maintain a professional yet persistent approach while collaborating with team members to achieve company goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Driven, punctual, reliable, self-starter
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with CRM systems a plus
- At least 1 year of medical device and/or hospital sales experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
