Job Description

PCG is looking for talented students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa, KS! This is a full-time paid internship supporting our Information Technology Department during the summer of 2026.

Applicants for the Summer program should be able to commit to a 10-week internship, Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

This role is responsible for assisting with the following:

  • Support the IT Security team in maintaining hardware, software, systems, and applications
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents
  • Help maintain and update security documentation and procedures
  • Participate in security awareness training and initiatives
  • Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
  • Document and maintain records of security incidents, configurations, and network diagrams
  • Assist with regular system backups and disaster recovery planning
  • Support in managing and updating security policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Research emerging threats and contribute to implementing countermeasures

Hourly Pay: $22 an hour

Basic Requirements

  • Must be currentlyenrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a comparable field of study
  • Must have reliable transportation to the office in Lenexa, KS
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
  • Displays excellent customer service skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask

Preferred Requirements

  • Local to the KC Metro Area
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
