Job Description

You will join and immediately contribute on the team that supports one of Quorum’s market leading enterprise applications. This role will be based in Quorum’s office in Tyler, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of tools and technologies to perform some aspects or phases of the full lifecycle of software development:
    • Work with the development team in improving and expanding the zdSCADA platform.
    • Design, implement, test, and deploy software in an agile environment.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive tests, including unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests.
    • Work with customers to build custom reports, exports, and 3rd party integrations.
    • Provide technical assistance to internal customer support team.
    • Assist in executing and maintaining SOC2 security controls.
  • Collaborate with others on the team to improve overall product quality and development & support efficiency
  • And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or higher-level education equivalent
  • An interest in full cycle application development, including design, development, implementation, and support
  • Knowledge of and experience with basic object-oriented programming concepts through coursework, job experience, or hobbies
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and success working in team environments
  • Exposure to one or more of the following technologies is preferred:
    • C#, C++, Javascript, Typescript, Lua, T-SQL
    • Git, ASP.NET, Vue.js, Playwright, Azure DevOps.
    • AWS EC2, AWS Cloudwatch, AWS Redshift
    • Android and iOS development
