Duties/Responsibilities:
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing issues, payment processing, and account statements via phone, email, or chat.
- Assist patients in understanding their bills, payment arrangements, and any discrepancies.
- Resolve billing disputes and work closely with the billing department to rectify errors and ensure accurate billing.
- Process payments, set up payment plans, call patients regarding past due balances, and handle refund requests according to company policies.
- Maintain billing records and ensure all documents are accessible and up to date in the billing system.
- Collaborate with other team members to address patient needs and enhance specialty services.
- Provide feedback on patient issues to help improve overall billing processes.
- Stay informed about company products, services, and policies to effectively assist patients.
