Job Description
Responsible for design, development, modification, debug and/or maintenance of software systems
What will your job look like?
- You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
- You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable, and demo the software products to stakeholders.
- You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
- You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
- You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
- You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency in all assigned tasks.
All you need is…
- Bachelor’s degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent
- Graduates 0 – 18 months
We’re looking for a recent graduate or early-career engineer with a strong interest in Generative AI, Software Engineering, and Data Engineering.
- Experience/knowledge of Agentic development
- Preferable using LangGraph, LangChain, or CrewAI with a focus on reliability, reproducibility, and auditability
- Knowledge in Data Engineering and Software Development
- Preferable using Python, REST APIs, Pyspark/Spark, NO-SQL (MongoDB), SQL- PostgreSQL, Redis, Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure CloudStrong fundamentals in Algorithms and Software Engineering, Test Automations etc.
- LLMOps – Large Language Model Operations
- Fundamentals, including prompt/model/config versioning and traceable run metadata.
- LLM – Large Language Model
- Evaluation framework (golden datasets, regression tests, scoring/rubrics, quality thresholds, trend tracking) for non-deterministic outputs
- Observability for LLM pipelines, including structured logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting, latency breakdown, error taxonomy, and token/cost tracking
- Familiarity
- Experience designing and integrating Tool-calling / agent skills (function calling, tool interfaces, input/output schemas, guardrails, structured outputs) into data pipelines or services
- APIs reliability patterns relevant to model calls (rate limiting, retries/backoff, circuit breakers, timeouts, idempotency, replay/backfill)
- Curiosity and self-learning ability in fast-evolving GenAI industry; able to iterate quickly and then harden solutions for production
