Job Description

Based in Santa Clara, California, this new college graduate role will help build key functionality for GF’s next-generation Customer Engagement Portal. The engineer will contribute across frontend user interfaces, backend APIs, database design, authentication systems, real-time collaboration tools, visualization platforms, simulation integration, and performance dashboards while partnering directly with internal customers and cross-functional engineering teams. 

Essential Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop frontend features and interactive design visualization interfaces. 
  • Develop backend APIs and services using relevant frameworks in cloud and containerized environments. 
  • Use development tools and user feedback to analyze and optimize application performance and user experience. 
  • Participate in code reviews for complex frontend and backend contributions. 
  • Partner with hardware validation and design teams to improve silicon validation platforms and inform architectural decisions based on user experience needs. 
  • Maintain documentation and reference implementations used by internal customers. 
  • Release platform APIs and support customers in integrating validation workflows for evaluation and development. 

Other Responsibilities: 

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Education – Graduating with a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program. 
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing. 
  • Language Fluency – English (Written & Verbal)  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience. 
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. 
  • Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making. 
  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Strong planning & organizational skills 
  • Experience with real-time applications, such as WebSockets, real-time collaboration, or streaming data. 
  • Experience with full-stack web development, cloud platforms, containerized environments, APIs, databases, or authentication systems.
