Job Description For NxtWave Off Campus Drive 2025
As a Data Analyst at NxtWave, you will play a central role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, enabling business teams to make data-driven decisions. You’ll own end-to-end analytics processes—from data extraction and modeling to visualization—while aligning closely with EdTech metrics and user behavior.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Translate business problems into structured data analysis tasks and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Engagement, and Ops) to understand needs and deliver insights.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards for tracking critical KPIs.
- Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources using SQL (BigQuery).
- Apply Python for automation, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and data transformation.
- Conduct statistical and trend analyses to identify opportunities and patterns.
- Implement modular data models and maintain version control using DBT.
- Document analytics best practices, maintain data dictionaries, and ensure standardization.
- Support forecasting models or ML-based prioritization efforts where relevant.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality data deliveries.

Must-Have Skills (Core, Non-Negotiable)
- Advanced expertise in SQL (BigQuery) and analytical querying.
- Hands-on experience with Looker Studio or equivalent BI tools.

- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work with stakeholders.
