Job Description For SmartStream Off Campus Drive 2024
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides.
- Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
- Create and maintain the information architecture.
Key Skills –
- Graduation in any stream (preferably IT) with 1 to 5 years of experience in Product Management Group, IT Governance or Technical Business Analysis role
- Able to understand and articulate the IT Risk associated with Release management and implementation of SDLC (Software development lifecycle)
- Knowledge and understanding of Java/C++/SQL will be preferred
- Understanding of unit testing, UML/Class will be an added advantage
- Candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
- Excellent written skills in English.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development.
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write for a technical and non-technical audience.
- Familiarity with financial products and the fintech industry.
- Experience with documentation publishing software and coding/scripting languages is a plus.
- This role requires a balance of technical knowledge, writing skills, and an understanding of the fintech sector to effectively communicate complex information in a user-friendly manner.
