Job Description

This is not your typical internship! The Digital Americas Internship Program is a unique opportunity to build a career in Software Development. As part of the Digital Americas team, students will work with our data scientists and software developers to create cutting-edge products, blending data science with software development.

The internship is a 2-year program. Students will work on challenging technical problems and engage with business leaders during product development. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time employment with Digital Americas or one of many global business teams.

The position will be based at the Linde Technology Center in Tonawanda, NY.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with data scientists and software developers to create analytics and optimization products supporting data-driven business decisions
  • Support, maintain, and enhance existing Digital Americas software platforms

Basic Requirements:

  • Working towards a B.S. in Computer Science or related field
  • Enrolled in sophomore or junior year of study for Spring 2026 semester
  • Availability to work 15 hours per week during spring/fall semesters and 40 hours per week during other periods
  • Work commitment through completion of undergraduate degree
  • Python programming experience
  • Availability to travel up to 25% (travel will not occur during school year)
  • Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to relational database systems and SQL
  • Experience with modern web frameworks, preferably Vue.js
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and architectural principles for data movement
