As an Intern, you involve in assisting with programming tasks, validating tool functionality, preparing documentation, and collaborating with the engineering team on various development activities with strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python and Latex. Foundational knowledge of GIT, CI/CD, Artifactory coupled with good analytical and communication skills, will be essential for success in this role.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Assist in designing and programming functions in MATLAB and Python for automated reporting and controller validation workflows.
- Support the testing and validation of new and existing software tools to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers to debug and enhance tool performance based on user feedback and project requirements.
- Implementation and improvement of automated build, test and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) procedures to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation for developed tools, including user guides and development notes.
- Support the creation of data analysis reports and technical presentations for engineering reviews.
- Preparing controller certification documents
What you bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's (B.Tech, 3rd/4th year) or Master's (M.Tech, 1st year) degree in Control & Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- No prior professional experience required; academic or personal project experience in relevant programming languages is highly valued.
- Good in Python Programming & MATLAB, Latex
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Software Testing
- Version Control Systems (e.g., Git)
- Hands-on experience with distributed version control systems (e.g., Mercurial, Git) and agile development tools (e.g., Jira)
