Job Description For Five9 Careers 2026
As an Apprentice / Trainee Engineer you will be part of the backbone that ensures our SaaS platform runs smoothly and reliably. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain high availability. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates at the start of their cloud / operations journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud-based SaaS infrastructure for uptime, performance, and reliability (24×7 operations). Built In+1
- Track application health and log/report errors, exceptions, and anomalies. Built In

- Learn and adapt to evolving internal infrastructure, tooling, and technologies.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, VBScript, or similar).
- Assist in maintenance activities, deployments, and ensuring system stability.
- Document operational procedures, incidents, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams, including engineering, support, and product.

Required Qualifications & Skills
