Job Description For HCLTech Careers 2026

HCLTech is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to provide first-level technical support to internal users and clients. The role involves diagnosing IT issues, resolving incidents, managing service requests, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related incidents and service requests
  • Provide Level 1 technical support via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Windows OS, MS Office, email, VPN, printers, and network connectivity
  • Log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 / Level 3 support teams
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and request management
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
  • Ensure SLA compliance and deliver excellent customer service
  • Support end users with password resets, access requests, and system configurations

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software
  • Understanding of Windows, Active Directory, MS Outlook, and Office 365
  • Familiarity with ITSM / ticketing tools

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
