Job Description
We are looking for an entry level Engineer, disciplined in Software Engineering to join our TCMA team in Cedar Rapids. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Agile software engineering processes and activities.
- Design, implement, and evaluate software in C++, Java and Python within the Agile framework
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, and development of military technology
- Work closely with cross-functional research teams to evaluate the effectiveness of early software prototypes
- Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor
- Implement requirements, detailed design, implementing software, integration, and verification in accordance with software development processes
- Accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates to make the best decisions
- Enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related (STEM) discipline.
- Familiarity with design and development using languages such as C, C++, Java, Ada and Python.
- Ability to successfully contribute to collaborative, cross-domain development environments
