Program Overview
This program supports the development and operation of advanced capabilities for space domain awareness and geolocation, combining RF signal processing and geospatial analytics.
As Part Of This Team, You’ll
- Innovate with SDR Technologies: Build and refine applications that ingest and analyze radio frequency data to detect, characterize, and track objects or signals in the space domain.
- Develop Novel Algorithms: Contribute to cutting-edge development programs by creating analytics, visualization, and discovery tools that enable precise geolocation and actionable insights.
- Ensure Interoperability: Integrate new and legacy software across diverse hardware platforms, ensuring performance and interoperability across various form factors.
- Drive System Design Decisions: Provide critical input to system design decisions, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse strategies, and the incorporation of COTS and GOTS solutions.
What You Will Do
As a Software Engineer, you’ll:
- Analyze Requirements: Derive software design and performance requirements from user needs.
- Debug & Improve Software: Debug existing software, correct defects, and provide recommendations for improving documentation and development standards.
- Design & Code: Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
- Integrate Systems: Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
- Develop Data Queries: Create simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
What You Need To Have
- Experience: No prior experience required. (Four years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency working in Linux development environments.
- Basic understanding of software development, including exposure to various programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python).
- Experience with Git, GitLab, and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as VSCode or Eclipse.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum).

- Image Displays: Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays.
