Job Description

This entry-level Software Engineer role focuses on developing and testing infotainment and navigation software for the automotive industry in the Dublin, Ohio area. You will contribute to Android-based applications used in in-vehicle infotainment systems, working with a small, growing team in a collaborative and positive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Android applications for automotive infotainment and navigation systems.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of infotainment software features.
  • Write, modify, and review source code in C++ and other relevant languages for software applications.
  • Participate in application development activities, including coding, debugging, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Support testing efforts for infotainment software to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

Essential Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience developing Android applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Android application development.
  • Experience working with source code repositories such as Git.
  • Proficiency in C++ for software application development.
  • Ability to develop, test, and debug infotainment or similar embedded applications.
