Job Description For Accelya Off Campus Drive 2026
As a Software Engineer (SDE I), you will begin your career by building real production software as part of a high-performing engineering team. This role is designed for engineers who want to learn by doing—writing code, shipping features, and steadily taking ownership of meaningful parts of the system.
You will work closely with Senior Engineers and Tech Leads, contributing to backend services and user-facing components while developing strong fundamentals in modern software engineering and cloud-native development.
What You’ll Own
Hands-On Development
- Implement backend APIs and services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Build UI components and integrate them with backend services where required.
- Contribute production-ready code under guidance, following established patterns and standards.
Feature Contribution
- Deliver well-scoped features or components from implementation through testing.
- Fix bugs and improve existing functionality with attention to quality and correctness.
- Apply modular design principles to keep code clean and maintainable.
Quality & Engineering Discipline
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to improve code quality.
- Learn and follow engineering best practices around version control, testing, and deployment.
- Develop an understanding of how your code behaves in production environments.
Learning & Growth
- Learn system design, cloud fundamentals, and operational practices through hands-on work.
- Pair with senior engineers to accelerate learning and problem-solving skills.

What You Must Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Internship, academic, or project experience in software development.
- Basic proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar).
- Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.
- Strong curiosity, learning mindset, and willingness to take ownership.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to backend frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js) or frontend frameworks (e.g. React).
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts or experience with AWS.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
