Job Description For TEKsystems Careers 2024

The resource will be part of change management team where any requests come to change management team they will review the firewall rules then do the necessary audit. This role will have no technical administrative work of configuration of firewalls. Focus is on compliance and governance of network security mainly firewalls E.G. Firewall change requests reviews, security governance, firewall reconciliations, review of change requests to create, amend or delete Firewall Rules, review request to add URLs to a proxy whitelist.

The hired candidate will get an opportunity to get an understanding on host-based firewall i.e., Illumio and they will get an exposure to work with multiple teams across.

Skills required:

Work alongside the existing Cybersecurity Service Delivery team to perform network related security reviews on:

• New network connections to a Third Party
• Re-reviews of existing connections to Third Parties
• New Products or Services
• Existing Products or Services where there has been a change to the Network topology
• Requests to create, amend or delete Firewall Rules
• Request to add URLs to a proxy whitelist.
• General Network Security experience would be useful.
• Experience with Skybox and Checkpoint would be an advantage.
• Any Data Security/DLP experience or knowledge would be beneficial.
• Experience or knowledge of on one or more Cloud platforms would be desirable.
• Ability to explain potential risks and requirements in a non-technical way to business users is required.
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and work under pressure is desirable.
