Software Engineers at Allstate (Consultant II through Lead) build and enhance digital products using modern engineering practices and 12-factor application principles. Engineers across all levels own the full software development lifecycle, contributing to both frontend (web/mobile) and backend services while leveraging test-driven development, continuous integration, and cloud-native practices.
As engineers grow in level, expectations are scaled from hands-on development and team collaboration to technical leadership, cross-product influence, and strategic partnership.
