Job Description
You will analyze, design, develop, and maintain software solutions for the organization’s products and systems. You will collaborate on system integrations of software and hardware to ensure optimal performance and program consistency. You will develops, validate, and test structures, user documentation, and software functionality. You will build systems, CI/CD, deployment, backups, Disaster Recovery, and security. Implement small/medium build ,CI/CD tasks, package, distribution, and backup plans. Work is reviewed for accuracy and adherence to established processes and guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Designs, develops, and tests software components as part of a larger project.
- Code Quality & Collaboration: Actively participates in the development process, including managing pull requests and conducting code reviews.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Creates and executes comprehensive software tests, analyzes results, and performs root cause analyses to resolve defects.
- Maintenance & Innovation: Maintains and upgrades existing software, enhancing current technologies to support new solutions.
- Problem Solving & Compliance: Recommends and implements solutions to complex issues while ensuring strict adherence to quality processes and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities and implements strategies to enhance team performance and overall productivity.
- Task Execution: Exercises sound judgment within defined procedures to manage routine work, new projects, and assignments under general guidance.
- Relationship Management: Builds productive working relationships, collaborating primarily within the immediate organization and occasionally handling cross-departmental or external customer communications.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Advanced Degree in relevant field is also acceptable
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with programming languages (Java required; Python and SQL preferred), operating systems, algorithms and software development frameworks
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge building systems and deploying applications, preferably with CI/CD, Cloud, and infrastructure tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Previous relevant internship experience is highly preferred
