Job Description For Uber Off Campus Drive 2024

In this role, you will be testing product launches to ensure that they’re bug free and operational as intended.

Requirement Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze product launch requirements.
• Ensure a clear and comprehensive understanding of expected outcomes and functionalities.

Test Planning:

• Develop detailed UAT test plans specific to support automation.
• Define test cases and scenarios, considering various support-related use cases and scenarios.

Test Execution:

• Execute test cases for support-related launches
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable.

Defect Identification and Reporting:

• Identify and document defects or issues in the product.
• Clearly communicate defects to the development team, providing detailed information for resolution.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to address issues and improve the overall quality of 

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and issues.
• Provide documentation for use by support teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution

Adherence to Standards and Processes:

• Ensure UAT processes align with industry best practices and standards.
• Follow established testing methodologies and procedures

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in retrospective meetings to discuss lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to support automation

Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech or Integrated Dual Degree (graduated in 2024) in Computer Science, Electronics Eng, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Mathematical Sciences or related fields 
• Demonstrated software engineering experience through previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, and/or publications 
• Programming experience one or more application or systems languages (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, C/C++, etc)
• Strong testing and quality assurance skills.
• Advanced JSON Knowledge
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages 
• Good knowledge about Agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail in reviewing requirements and executing tests.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities
