Job Description For TAAL Tech Walkin Drive 2024

• 8-10 years of experience as a Piping Designer, with proven proficiency in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D).
• Knowledge of piping standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
• Experience in piping design for industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Chemical Plants.
• Strong understanding of piping layouts, isometrics, equipment layout, and support design.
• Develop detailed 3D models of piping systems using SP3D based on engineering requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Generate piping isometric drawings, layout plans, and support designs as required for the project.
• Collaborate with project engineers, civil, structural, and mechanical teams to resolve design clashes and ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and specify materials for piping components, adhering to project standards and specifications.
• Review and check design deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards such as ASME, API, and project-specific requirements.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts within SP3D, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
• Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, design changes, and revisions, as well as adhering to document control procedures.

Role & responsibilities for Piping Stress Engineer:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping design within EPC projects.
• Proficiency in stress analysis software (CAESAR II, AutoPIPE).
• Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
• Perform detailed stress analysis using software such as CAESAR II.
• Develop stress isometric drawings and stress reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1).
• Review and approve piping layouts to ensure flexibility and support adequacy.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Conduct stress analysis for critical piping systems, including high-temperature and high-pressure lines.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and constructability reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
