- Study & understand completely the company’s products at a business/customer experiential level, including product eco-system, product roadmap, and product vision.
- Build detailed, structured test case documentation for every operational area of the software
- Build test plans, test data, test automation, test logs, and testing strategy
- Report defects/bugs/usability issues with a aggressive goal to achieve 100% bug-free releases
- Ownership of defect replication as reported internally or externally (customers)
- Ownership of defect closure, including response to development team where necessary to clarify defects and steps to replicate them
- To translate test cases into automated end-to-end test scripts
