Job Description For Rupeek Careers 2024

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that impact Rupeek’s business, with an emphasis on Mobile, Payments, Core Platform, and Analytics.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs to integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
• Conduct unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Fix bugs and improve application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Assist directly and indirectly in the continual hiring process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
• Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app.
• Experience with Android SDK.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills (Java and/or Kotlin).
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Experience with Flutter & IOS is a plus.
