SRE & Systems team at Realpage is a global team involved in support, provisioning and de-provisioning of multiple opensource application environments. At RealPage, ENGINEER I will report to Sr.MANAGER – SRE & Systems and will be involved in provisioning, de-provisioning & support of multiple open source application environments infrastructure. Should be flexible to work in SHIFTS.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide governance & oversight to guide implementation towards solution delivery.
- Guide & mentor the team to successfully deliver the projects.
- Lead analytical & design activities with approved/validated technologies in line with organization standards.
- Align IT security and IT operations teams to ensure safe and secure operation of processes, including DevOps.
- Contribute to and review deployment plans; schedule the installation of new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment.
- Serve as an SME in build & release, automation, CAAS, and other technical capabilities.
- Develop and execute automated builds & releases, benchmark industry standards, and ensure efficient and quality delivery and deployments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new technologies and adapt to them.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor the team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- 0 to 2 years of experience working on various Linux systems.
- LINUX support experience in an IT environment, preferably in a technical industry (Server Deployment, Monitoring & Support).
- Working knowledge of GCP/OCI environments.
- Experience working with ANSIBLE & Ansible Towers (Playbook, Inventories, Scheduling, Repo, etc.).
- Experience with clustering technologies, server farming techniques, load balancing, and F5 Big IP or other hardware load balancing.
- Experience with disaster recovery techniques, including backup and restoration technologies, replication strategies, failover, and recovery.
- Experience with automation technologies for rapid deployment of server builds and software deployment.
- Experience with installation/configuration of Apache, Samba, FTP, NFS, and LDAP.
