Job Description For Polaris Careers 2024
Polaris is looking for Global Trade Associate (FTA) whose primary responsibility is to work on solicitation of free trade agreements, such as USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Free Trade Agreement), KORUS, country of origin assignment, and other trade compliance functions primarily for imports and exports within North America.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Solicit suppliers for free trade (USMCA, TRACE, KORUS) and country of origin
- Monitor and follow-up with supplier solicitations
- Review supplier responses for accuracy and maintain up-to-date trackers
- Make the calls to the suppliers or Polaris Internal team to get the faster solicitation responses when required
- Coordinating with stake holders to resolve critical issues/challenges
- Maintain appropriate recordkeeping to support free trade claims
- Audit the solicitation accepted campaigns month-on-month basis
- Coordinating with Lead/manager to identify process improvements based on the monthly KPI’s
- To support Team Lead in training new joiners
Skills, Knowledge & Education:
- Any degree
- 0 to 2 years of trade compliance experience (Experience in FTA is an added advantage).
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpretation skill
- Problem Solving skills
