Job Description

As an AI Solutions Engineer on the Security Operations and Compliance (ETOSOC) team within Enterprise Security Operations, you will build, automate, and modernize enterprise infrastructure solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ETOSOC team sits at the intersection of platform engineering, cloud operations, security compliance, and emerging AI technologies, ensuring critical systems remain resilient, secure, and operational at scale. In this role, you will design and deploy AI-enabled solutions-such as internal virtual assistants, automated compliance verification, and Copilot-driven development practices-while building automation tooling across AWS, Azure, Linux, Windows, and modern web frameworks (React/FastAPI).

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions, platform automations, and software applications to streamline workflows and address complex infrastructure challenges with an emphasis on responsible use of AI
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to automate vulnerability remediation, patch compliance monitoring, and operational governance across enterprise scale
  • Evaluate emerging AI technology trends and platform capabilities to inform solution design, application architecture, and strategic engineering innovation
  • Build, modernize, and maintain full-stack web applications and backend APIs using React, FastAPI, and Python to support developer productivity and infrastructure operations
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management tooling using Terraform, Chef, and GitHub to automate server deployments and cloud resource provisioning
  • Collaborate closely with security, platform engineering, cloud operations, and compliance teams to translate complex security standards into automated verification and operational workflows

You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience using languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and infrastructure deployment tooling (e.g., Terraform, Chef, or Ansible)
  • 1+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and web applications using modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, React, Node.js, or Django)
  • 1+ years of experience using standard software engineering practices, Git version control, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • 1+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying AI/ML integrations, internal AI assistants, or intelligent enterprise automations in production environments
  • Experience with AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and LLM application frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI APIs)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security, vulnerability remediation, patch management, or compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST controls)
  • Experience integrating application data with enterprise CMDBs, monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace), and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Experience working across multi-OS environments, including Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server infrastructure
