Job Description For Lowe’s Careers 2024
The Accounts Payable Specialist reviews and verifies all purchase orders, statements, and invoices needed to prepare payments. Prepares and processes payments accurately and on time for amounts owed by the company. Being an Accounts Payable Specialist identifies and resolves any discrepancies to an account. Reconciles bills and balances accounts. In addition, Accounts Payable Specialist tracks all payment and transaction records using applicable systems. May maintain vendor files. Being an Accounts Payable Specialist possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Attain complete Understanding of full AP cycle.
- Managing Expense and Purchase order accounts.
- Processing and scanning of vendor invoices and check requests.
- Working with accounting departments and internal Marketing business partners to ensure accurate account coding and proper expense allocation.
- Managing relationships with internal/external business partners; Provide timely responses to vendor and internal marketing business partner inquiries.
- Communicating program performance at many levels (campaign/pillar) that drive action.
- Assisting in administration of shared mailbox.
- Planning and organization to balance and prioritize work
- Effective communication
- Protecting organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishing accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

- 0-3 years
Education Qualification (Required Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline
Skill Set Required
- Must be knowledgeable in both Expense and Purchase order accounts
- Knowledge and skills on Microsoft Excel (or on the Microsoft Suite)
- Ability to multi-task and remain focused
