Job Description
As an Software Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on software development experience while contributing to real-world projects on one of Lightcast’s API development teams. Working alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional partners, you will support the design, development, testing, and documentation of software solutions while building your technical skills and solving meaningful engineering challenges.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support engineering projects through research, design, development, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with engineers, technical teams, and project managers to achieve project goals
- Participate in the design, prototyping, and scoping of engineering solutions
- Prepare technical documentation related to engineering projects and processes
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions with guidance from experienced engineers
- Participate in training and development opportunities to expand technical knowledge and engineering skills
Education and Experience:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field preferred
