Job Description For KLA Off Campus Drive 2024
This position is for a DevOps Engineer who will be supporting our CI/CD Infrastructure and other configuration management activities.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:Â
- Automate builds, and develop and integrate new tools to support CI/CD (continuous integration/delivery) and reporting across projects in various environments like on-premises cloud, Azure Terraform and AWSÂ
- Develop and maintain well architected build scripts and integrate new tools/plugins to support CI/CD (using Jenkins)Â
- Collaborate with software development to improve build pipelineÂ
- Support source code management tools like RTC/GIT/GIT-Hub for a team of 30+ software developersÂ
- Support deployment activities using containers (Docker), RPM and/or full desktop install through InstallShieldÂ
- Monitor and support daily Builds and timely release of Hotfix packagesÂ
- Manage build environment through configuration management tool/systemÂ
Required Skills/Qualifications:Â
- Strong knowledge of source repository administration with tools like GIT-Hub, RTC and Azure DevopsÂ
- Strong knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes and should have worked with Helm and IstioÂ
- Should have worked on microservice based architectureÂ
- Strong scripting language experience in one or more – Perl, shell, command script, python groovyÂ
- Experience of Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/Hudson for pipeline managementÂ
- Experience with Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and Cloud (on-premises/Azure/AWS) technologiesÂ
- Strong experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef)Â
- Experience with Software Application packaging like InstallShield, RPMÂ
- Working experience with containers and container orchestrationÂ
- Working knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP
- Working knowledge of Build Releases in various languages, like C/C++/C#, Java, python in continuous integration environmentÂ
- Working knowledge of tools like static/dynamic code analysis (e.g. Sonar, Coverity), code review, etc. and how to integrate with code baseÂ
- Knowledge of application servers like Tomcat, WebLogic or similarÂ
