Full Stack Software Engineer

NCR VOYIX Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer (I) to join our innovative team. This entry-level position will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge software solutions within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Use AI to Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to technical discussions.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues.
• Develop and execute unit tests and participate in integration and system testing.
• Learn and apply new technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to project needs.
• Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and improve existing software applications.
• Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in the following programming language (e.g., Go, TypeScript, React).
• Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., version control systems like GitHub, GitHub Actions, Agile development).
• Cloud experience (GCP, Azure, AWS). GCP a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Prior internship or project experience in software development is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in the role or a related field.
• Retail expirience is a plus.
