CFD Engineer

The Engineer will support our simulation software and have a pivotal role in the organization with responsibility for the quality of our software. You will interact with the development, physics R&D, and application management teams as a key contributor to product quality.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

• Review enhancement specifications and provide early feedback on specifications.
• Create a test plan and evaluate product functionality.
• Execute test plans and incorporate them into the regression suite.
• Report bugs and track their corrections.
• Running and analyzing the regression suite on various supported platforms.
• Automation and manual GUI testing
• Document all tests and procedures.

Qualifications:

• M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical, Thermal Engineering with a focus in CFD Simulation using PowerFLOW, Abaqus, Fluent, CFX but not limited to it.
• 0 to 1 years of experience looking for this position.
• Preferably should have done M.E.\M.Tech level research projects in the area of CFD.
• Comfortable in a Linux and Windows environment.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter who works well independently on assigned tasks and products with minimal guidance.
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment and interact with development, product management, and validation teams.
• Good understanding of Python, automation tools, and testing environment.

Additional optional skills or experience:

• Knowledge of other FEA\FEM software Ansys, Nastran, Hyper Mesh, Ansa etc
