Job Description
The Application Developer will analyze, design, and implement complex database and web applications to support Parallon/HCA development solutions. The developer should have the ability to review requirements and craft technical design documentation that allows for future scalability, interoperability, and reduced maintenance. The developer should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to establish effective working relationships and manage multiple priorities. The developer must demonstrate a clear history of technical growth and positively inspiring teams towards their goals. This role will perform any technical project assignments with the assistance of Senior and Consulting developers. The developer must be able to identify, investigate, evaluate and become proficient in new technologies and technical disciplines that are of significance to Parallon.
In this role you will:
- Development & Documentation o Understand business requirements and how they translate to new application features
- Design, develop and test internal Parallon web applications
- Assist with the design and coding of software from concept to finished product, in order to meet the needs of Parallon operations.
- System analysis, design, development & support of MS SQL Server in Production, QA and Development.
- Develop high quality, well-factored code. o Write integration and UI automation tests.
- Create and maintain application documentation in Confluence.
- Collaborate with Senior Developers, Consulting Developers, Solution Architect, Product Analysts and operations to help gather requirements and understand business need(s).
- Utilize version control tools, such as, GitHub.

- Troubleshoot and respond to system issues, when necessary.
- Follow Parallon Change Management policy and procedures; creates/executes change control ticket(s) for all changes scheduled for production.
- Participates in on-call rotation. o Assists with other duties, as assigned.
- Continuous team and process improvement o Continuously review, propose, and execute opportunities to optimize the processes that affect the included solutions.
- Ensure systems are developed in a robust way; reliable and maintainable from the start, applying techniques such as unit testing, continuous integration, automated testing and system monitoring.
- Follows technical and development standards when developing database and web components.
- Actively builds technical knowledge by taking advantage of internal team mentoring and attending professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience as full stack .NET developer
- Microsoft Certified, preferred
- SQL & C# experience, preferred
