Job Description For Colmore Careers 2024
As a Data Management Associate working in the Entities team, your primary focus will be on the data processing and quality assurance of public data. You will report into the Team Lead and be part of a diverse team specializing in researching and curating public data offerings for Preqin’s clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of data obtained from public sources relevant to the alternative assets industry
- Establish and maintain well-organized data repositories to facilitate easy retrieval and accessibility
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness according to internal quality standards and metrics
- Document operational processes, procedures, and standards to ensure seamless team functioning
- Collaborate with diverse teams to collect, input and implement project requirements, ensuring timely completion
- Generate clear and concise reports that summarize methodologies, results, and conclusions for relevant stakeholders
- Identify and explore opportunities to utilize technology for process improvement and automation
What you’ll bring to us:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or Economics
- Keen interest in acquiring knowledge in the alternative’s assets space
- 0 – 2 years of work experience in data management in the financial services industry
- Fluency in English and have excellent writing and communication skills
- Should have experience using Microsoft Office 365
- Should be comfortable using project management tools like Jira and query languages like SQL/JQL
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools like Power BI/Qlik/Tableau
