The Sales Development Representative will be primarily responsible for lead generation, CRM setup and management (Zoho), inbound call triage, and support in organizing and following up on leads. The role involves setting up foundational sales systems and workflows in a startup environment.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach:
- Proactively generate, identify, and qualify leads through CRM and outreach strategies.
- Develop creative strategies to source and connect with referral partners, facilities, and prospective clients.
- Regularly follow up with leads and document activity in CRM.
CRM Management (Zoho):
- Assist with initial CRM (Zoho) setup and implementation.
- Maintain and update lead records, contact details, and follow-up actions.
- Suggest improvements in CRM structure and usage.
Call Handling & Communication:
- Answer 2–3 daily inbound calls, triage inquiries, and direct them appropriately.
- Conduct outbound calls with professionalism, empathy, and patience.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Coordination & Scheduling:
- Use Access Care (EMR) or similar platforms to help track leads, assessment appointments, and client statuses.
- Coordinate home assessments and ensure timely calendar scheduling for the on-ground team.
Process Development:
- Document workflows and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to sales and lead follow-ups.
- Provide insight and structure to optimize internal sales systems.

Requirements
- College educated
- Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring
- Candidates must provide proof of separation from their previous/current employer with an indication/confirmation of their last date of employment
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, and Calendar
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho)
- Familiarity with Access Care of similar electronic medical record systems is a plus
- Experience in home care, healthcare, or service-based client support is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Professional-level English (spoken and written)

- At least a 25mbps primary internet connection
- A backup laptop, backup internet connection device, and backup power supply in case of power outage and emergencies
- Minimum recommendation for your main computer: Intel Core i5 or equivalent with 8 GB RAM or higher
