Job Description For Clarivate Careers 2026
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Content QA Team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on different projects with our QA team, which has various competencies to compete and learn together. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and DevOps to define quality. We have a great skill set in the team related to Manual Testing, Test Automation, Performance Testing, DevOps to define quality standards and ensure best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- (0-2) years of relevant professional experience
- Skilled in automation and manual testing.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Hands on knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium/Playwright, Automation frameworks and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Good knowledge of programming languages preferably Java, TypeScript/JavaScript
- Utilize AI tools (e.g.,GitHub Copilot) to generate test cases from requirements, user stories, and code.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering
It would be great if you also had…
- Skills in another automation Tools like API testing
- Experience with AI-specific testing tools
What will you be doing in this role?
- Reviews user stories to understand the acceptance criteria. Works with the team to clarify any doubts.
- Identifies test scenarios based on user stories and writes test scripts.
- Executes test scripts for both new stories and regression.
- Documents and tracks defects, providing detailed information to assist development.
- Strong commitment to quality of work and a good attention to detail
Product you will be developing
- Responsible for identifying standard test scenarios, writing and executing routine test scripts.
- Responsible for analysing defects and documenting issues found during testing.
- Responsible for writing automation scripts.
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests
- Debug, fix, and optimize existing automated tests
- Maintain manual test scripts as needed using the Zephyr tool in JIRA
