Ather Energy was started in 2013 by Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain, two engineering graduates straight out of college with the audacity to dream and challenge the well-established Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and replace it with an electric drive. We built India’s first smart and connected electric scooters, the Ather 450 product line, because we believe that’s where the future of personal mobility is headed.

Job Description For Ather Energy Off Campus Drive 2025
- Evaluate the influence of change request (CRs) and new product releases on current processes, conducting impact analysis
- Examine parts/drawings/assemblies to determine service, repair, replacement and rework requirements and calculate precise man-hours needed for effective resource allocation
- Responsibility for accuracy and adequate content of BOMs including proper structure, quality requirements, linking of appropriate technical documentation in our SAP/DMS system.
- Preparation of BOMs for use in our service processes.
- Liaising with Sourcing, Engineering, and Spares departments to meet technical and business requirements.
- Detailed checking of output to ensure the highest possible accuracy and quality for smooth running in production.
- Maintenance of the labor master database to ensure all records conform to established standards and documentation.
- Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement.
- Ensuring electronic parts catalog complies with latest part revisions and accounting for redundancies.
- Aim for 100% Accuracy level of BOM with First time right.
- Sound knowledge of Electrical Systems of 2 W/4 W Auto Industry.
- Should have knowledge of warranty claims, Service Quality and repair process.
What experience & skills do you need for this role?
- PC skills Google Office, Knowledge of Teamcenter, AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Engineering Bill of materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
- Organization skills

- Understanding of computerized ERP System

Some attributes that you bring to this role?
- Strong background in electronic control systems is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Serial Data communication protocols and/or Software Defined Vehicle architecture.
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Proven track record of tackling complex problems.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical wiring diagrams and controller specifications.
- Bachelor degree in Information science/Electronics Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
What should you have graduated in?
- Graduation : Electrical/Mechanical/Electronical Diploma holder/Engineer
- Work Experience : 1~4 years in the Automobile/Automotive Industry
