Job Description For AMETEK Careers 2025
- Identify and analyse Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) within our codebase to ensure the security of our products and systems.
- Utilize C/C++ proficiency to assess, debug, and implement security measures within our code.
- Demonstrate a foundational knowledge of firmware to comprehend the intricacies of our instruments and products.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to address security concerns and implement best practices for secure coding.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on security-related issues to ensure the integrity of our systems.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of computer systems, programming languages (especially C/C++), and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with firmware concepts and their relevance to embedded systems is desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for cybersecurity and a desire to contribute to the development of secure software and systems.
Preferable:
- Fresh Master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, or related field, with projects / Internship related to Cybersecurity.
- Alternatively, candidates with less than 2 year of work experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
