Job Description For American Express Off Campus Drive 2024
Key responsibilities for this role would be providing analytical support to improve data quality and accuracy of customer data, serving all the analytics needs for C360. Part of this role will be to work with platform owners, stakeholders, product analysts for defining key metrics and KPIs for measuring success of C360.
We’re looking for a skilled individual who can work in a cross-functional team and deliver on the following goals and objectives:
- Partner with product analysts and data scientists to define key pillars for Product Operations which includes C360 Product Analytics and Communication & Branding
- Partner with the product analytics, product development and business teams to understand analytics needs, define the KPIs and provide data-driven solutions
- E2E ownership of analytical needs & reporting for the product
- Maintain an external lens to inform decisions and business strategies
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation for analytics implementations and processes.
- Lead new initiatives, prepare project plans and other supporting information.
- Define what winning looks like for the product.
- Create Executive dashboards showcasing the enterprise level impact.
- Understand product pain points and help them convert to the delight points.Data driven mindset , Basic knowledge of data extraction and analytics .
- Monitor performance and quality controls to identify any gaps, find solutions to elevate data quality/performance at product level.
- Facilitate stakeholder management and collaboration across a wide net of partners including Product, Technology and Governance within and outside Customer 360.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in development and deployment of data science solutions
- Strong quantitative skills with an understanding of analyzing large amounts of data and data flows to identify patterns/insights and generate useful recommendations with high value.
- Experience with delivering business solutions across a variety of platforms and technologies such as Big Data, Pyspark, Hive, Scala, Tablueu & power BI tools.
- Strong program management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems.
- Ability to compile, summarize, communicate, and present findings to leadership.
- Good understanding of prototyping, iterative development, and Agile principles.
- Ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus to engage, influence, align and encourage partners and business partners across geographies to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Focus on understanding sophisticated business problem and analyze complex data to provide a simplified solution to business partners.
