We are looking for an Associate Software Development Engineer to join our team and work on backend modules for the Pricing and Shopping Engine. This role requires strong technical expertise in C/C++, analytical thinking, and the ability to propose innovative solutions. You will collaborate with global teams and contribute to high-quality software development and testing practices
In This Role You’ll
- Review existing systems and software design, analyze technical and functional aspects, and propose improvements.
- Develop customer requirements and maintain robust C/C++ code.
- Design, document, and maintain test cases, including automated scripts and validation data.
- Present ideas for design and system enhancements.
- Work closely with business analysts, software architects, and global teams (including Nice, France).
- Stay updated on emerging tools, programming techniques, and industry best practices.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of operational information.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Development: Write, maintain, and optimize C/C++ code for backend systems.
- Testing: Create and execute test cases, automate scripts, and validate fixes.
- Collaboration: Work in Agile/Scrum environments and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement design and process enhancements.
- Knowledge Sharing: Mentor peers and contribute to technical knowledge within the team.
About the Ideal Candidate
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Experience with Python, scripting languages (Shell, Python), and Linux.
- Familiarity with debugging tools (GDB), profiling tools (Valgrind, Callgrind), and CI/CD practices.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to Design Patterns and Distributed Systems is a plus.
