Job Description For Alteryx Careers 2024
We are building a cutting-edge Generative AI solution and need excellent Data engineers to help us. As a Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in assembling, optimizing, and maintaining complex datasets necessary for our AI models at scale with experiment repeatability and compliance to regulations in mind. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across various time zones to design and implement scalable data pipelines and ensure the reliability and availability of high-quality data for critical business processes.
- Assemble large, complex datasets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Implement systems for monitoring data quality and ensure accuracy and availability of production data.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources.
- Develop analytical tools to provide actionable insights into key business performance metrics, such as operational efficiency, model performance and customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including data scientists, designers, product managers, and executives to solve data-related technical issues.
- Perform data analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in resolving them.
- Design data integrations and implement data quality frameworks.
- Work closely with business units and engineering teams to develop long-term strategies for data platform architecture.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to address specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
- Proficiency in building processes supporting data transformation, workload management, data structures, dependency, and metadata.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
- Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Process-oriented mindset with strong documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
