Job Description
- Support customer technical discussions alongside senior engineering and sales team members
- Help maintain a basic understanding of customer data center architectures and product usage
- Track and report customer activities, feedback, and open items
- Participate in solution demonstrations, testing activities, and implementation support
- Prepare and deliver technical content for customer meetings with guidance from senior team members
- Assist in gathering market insights, product feedback, and competitive observations
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to address customer questions and needs
- Document customer requirements and translate them into clear internal tasks
- Assist in developing and updating technical documentation, drawings, and solution overviews
- Support coordination of new product requests and early‑stage development conversations
- Maintain accurate customer drawing files, approvals, and revision updates
- Contribute to internal knowledge‑sharing materials, presentations, and technical training resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical role (internships or co‑ops experience included)
- Basic understanding of fiber optic connectivity, networking, or data center concepts
- Ability to create or edit technical drawings (Visio preferred)
- Familiarity with MS Office; exposure to Oracle, SFDC, or GP is a plus
- Interest in learning passive and active network technologies
