Job Description For Acko Careers 2024

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET-1) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in testing and automation (Web, App, API) and will work closely with our SDET-2 resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications using Appium and web applications using Playwright or Selenium.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to identify and ensure the overall quality of the software.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies, including the adoption of new tools and technologies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and test automation.
• Possess a basic understanding of the principles of CI/CD and non-functional testing.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in testing web, app, and API platforms.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Appium,Selenium, RestAssured.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD principles and non-functional testing

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java/Python
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
