Job Description For Media Monks Careers 2024
We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and passionate recent college graduate or fresher to join our team as an entry-level software developer. The ideal candidate must have excellent programming skills, a strong understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and a keen interest in data engineering and business analytics. We are particularly interested in individuals who have undertaken significant software development projects during their college tenure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement software features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java, Python, and SQL/No-SQL.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Gain experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Recent college graduate or fresher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in developing end-to-end software projects using Java, SQL/No-SQL, and Python.
- Demonstrated understanding and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, etc.
- Sound understanding of REST APIs and Open API Specification.
- Familiarity with the OAuth 2.0 framework and its implementation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team player.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with automation tools and techniques like Jenkins for CI/CD,
- Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including the use of Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and Git for code repository management.
- Demonstrated experience in significant college projects related to the job role.
This could include, but is not limited to:
- Implementation of a project with RDBM/No SQL and any of the languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Development and deployment of an application on a cloud platform
- Implementation of OAuth 2.0 framework in a project setting
- Proactive learning attitude and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
