Job Description For Wood Group Off Campus Drive 2024
Wood is hiring for Graduate Engineer Trainee – Project Controls from Campus through the Campus Recruitment drives for the successfully passed out students’ of 2024 batch with a desired cutoff mark.
Responsibilities
Role & Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
- Review and understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the Project including scope of services, conditions of contract, Project execution plan, Project schedule, scope of work, etc. Verify and ensure completeness of the scope of work associated with the project.
- Prepare Project Control interface / coordination procedure on the Project.
- Understand clearly reporting requirements and develop reporting calendar for both planning and cost engineering.
- Prepare and update schedules along with relevant backups and qualifications, as required.
- Prepare and update Schedule Basis Memorandum, as required.
- Derive schedule dates for the work activities and establish milestones, in line with the project schedule.
- Review and update the forecast of activities in the Level II/III schedule based on the inputs in progress measurement system and coordination with disciplines.
- Coordinate Rostering / Project Approval / PAFing process and take corrective actions to eliminate errors/ wrong bookings.
- Log all change requests and coordinate with the Project Manager for regularising the scope changes, budget transfers and schedule changes.
- Timely preparation and issue of reports as per the agreed reporting calendar.
- Capture lessons learned on projects and document for future use.
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any Engineering discipline
