Job Description For Galacon Careers 2024
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Civil), you will undergo extensive on-the-job training to gain practical experience and develop technical skills in various aspects of civil engineering. You will be involved in different phases of construction projects, from planning to execution, while being guided by experienced professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Assistance:
- Assist senior engineers in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects.
- Support in preparing detailed project reports, drawings, and specifications.
Site Supervision:
- Monitor and oversee construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans and safety standards.
- Report any deviations from project plans to senior engineers.
Technical Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily progress reports, material usage records, and inspection reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity estimations and cost assessments.
Quality Control:
- Participate in quality control processes by conducting inspections and tests on materials and workmanship.
- Assist in ensuring that construction activities meet the required standards and specifications.
Learning and Development:
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Work closely with mentors and senior engineers to gain insights into various aspects of civil engineering.
Health and Safety:
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety audits and contribute to improving site safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- 0 – 1 year of relevant experience, including internships or academic projects.
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles, AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
Additional Requirements:
