Job Description For Chandan Steel Careers 2024

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Graduate Engineer Trainee to join our Mechanical Maintenance Department. This position is designed for recent engineering graduates who are eager to learn and contribute to the maintenance and optimization of our mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the steel plant, including pumps, compressors, conveyors, and furnaces.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and maintenance staff to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Support the implementation of safety protocols and practices in the maintenance department.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment performance and reducing operational costs.
• Engage in training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with maintenance practices and procedures in an industrial setting is a plus.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
