We are looking for a Software QA Test Developer Engineer. This role is in Embedded QA group. The group works for validation of powerful cloud-native microservices and reference applications. These microservices and applications helps to fast track the development and deployment of developer’s vision AI applications. This position will be part of multifaceted engineers team. They will test and maintain the quality of complex AI workflows or solutions. The focus is on validation required towards end-to-end development of cloud-native building blocks. These are used for developing vision AI applications and solutions. These applications built to run on NVIDIA cloud and data center GPUs. These applications also run with the NVIDIA Jetson Orin edge AI platforms.

This position will also require validating various reference applications. These applications address a variety of challenging vision AI use-cases. Examples include multi-camera tracking, occupancy heatmap and AI-powered NVRs. We are looking for Software QA Test Developer. to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests. The goal is to ensure these AI platforms, workflows, and software/hardware stack meet high standards of quality. As a member of this core team, you will work with highly hardworking and motivated engineers. This role will also require to frequently get along with workstream leads & release managers. What you will be doing:

• Design, author, code and maintain test scenarios of validating various reference workflows of Metropolis – Video Analytics and applications such as Multi-Camera AI, Real Time Location System and validate.
• Design and setup analytics and sensor processing configuration and perform deployment and post deployment validation of the complete stack.
• Create test strategy, detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on high-level customer requirements.
• Participate in the review and provide feedback on product feature requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. 
• Working closely with various teams including project management, hardware, and software developers, provide technical analysis of the Top Bugs filed and periodically publish statistical data reports to all partners.

What we need to see:

• B.Tech. or Equivalent degree in CS/CE/IT/ECE/EEE
• At least 2+ years of professional experience in Embedded Software Validation, preferably in the field of Intelligent Video Analytics and Multi-Sensor processing on AI-powered platforms.
• Good experience in Multimedia, viz. how video decode and encode works from camera side as well as device side, the impact of the Frame structure, encoding parameter like bitrate, frame rate, frame intervals, video compression techniques, VMS systems
• Good experience in GFX viz. different rendering techniques, Display parameters, graphic processing techniques, shaders, and clusters
• Good experience in dockers, containers, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Linux Ubuntu is required
• Good debugging skills. Able to understand different logs and the root cause of the issue
• Excellent programming skills in python and should be able to design and code from scratch
• Experience to use Configuration Management tools (Git, Perforce) and Agile scrum tools (JIRA, JAMA)
• Ability to self-manage, show leadership, good analytical skill and communicate well and should be an excellent teammate, with passion for new technology/trends

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Knowledge of GenAI, LLM, AI powered microservices, and AI powered 2D and 3D character animation
• Knowledge of Kafka Tools, Spark, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
